The Experience

We often forget that moments are fleeting, my job as a photographer is to stop time and preserve the big and little things that give your life meaning. As your photographer, I want to connect with you, learn your story, and then tell the world about it through my lens. I treat my photos like little poems — I hope that each one brings you joy or makes you stop for just a little while and marvel at the fiercely imperfect magic of love and life.

My approach combines both naturally posed and candid images to create images that are luminous, romantic, and soft, and, although I primarily shoot on digital, I do incorporate film into my work. My editing style is timeless and aims to recreate the soft, creamy tones of classic film.

I am known for soft, delicate portraiture that showcase the romance between my couples, capturing quiet, tucked away moments that overflow with emotion, and artful veil and hand images that play with texture and light.

Beyond the camera, I am there for all my couples as they plan to answer questions and share my expertise as a former weddings editor for online wedding planning publications like Zola, Borrowed & Blue, and Oh-Brides Magazine.

"The way she captures the details and the small, candid moments during the day is very special, and to say we are ecstatic about the final photos is an understatement."

04. Planning & Prep

A month before your wedding day, I'll send you a pre-wedding questionnaire to fill out with details about your big day, such as timing for particular events, your photo requests, your list of family photo combinations, and more. It's your wedding day! At your wedding, I'll combine posed photos with candids throughout the day to capture the small, unexpected moments with each other and your loved ones and to ensure that we have stunning, beautifully lit heirloom portraits for you to cherish for years to come.
